"Long-term residential program for youth ages 13-17 years of age who have problems with chemical abuse."


Treatment Philosophy:

"Behavioral modification program with the use of 12-Step Philosophy of Recovery."


Approach to Dual Diagnosis:

"Approximately 70 % of youth have a co-occurring diagnosis."


Family Program:

"Family participation in services is required to assist in stabilizing family functioning."


Position on 12 Step Involvement:

"All youth attend community based 12-Step meetings and the facility hosts an in-house AA weekly meeting. Youth are required to obtain a sponsor while in treatment."


Position on Confrontation:

"Confrontation used to assist youth in accomplishing an effective Step One when needed."


Additional Characteristics:

"On-site psychiatric visits with co-occurring population. On-site alternative school. All youth are required to be enrolled in school."
